educating children aims to assist teachers, therapists, madrichim and parents in the process of educating children. each child has the ability to reach their full potential and it is up to us as educators to help them achieve this. children are like plants. each child is innocent, young human beings with clear minds just like a seed of a plant. when one plants a seed one needs to look after the seed by watering it, feeding it and ensuring it gets enough sun to grow. so too, children need to be nurtured, loved and cared for to ensure that their needs are met in order for them to want to grow. as the seed grows, it develops a strong root which secures its growth into a stem. these roots are developed by creating a secure and stimulating environment for the children to learn in. the seed then grows into a long beautiful green stem. each child in their own way also develops into a stem by connecting and making meaning through what they have been taught. this is done by asking questions and
