"educating girls everyday, period!” is removing barriers to education for young women in rural kenya. the program supports female students by creating girl friendly school environments by providing sanitary pads, underwear, tuition support, female health education, and adequate toilets. the program currently supports over 1,000 female students in kithoka, a small village in meru, kenya. this initiative of kuef, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, launched in 2011, and continues to grow. currently two primary schools and three secondary day schools are being served by this program.
