our mission has survived 30 years education is the foundation for a young person's long-term success. access to higher education has far-reaching implications, particularly for students of color, who frequently face daunting challenges in completing a post-secondary education. the page education foundation promotes academic achievement, personal responsibility, and the untapped potential of minnesota's youth of color to become vital contributors to their communities, guided by our mission to encourage minnesota's youth of color to pursue post-secondary education.this is accomplished by providing financial assistance to postsecondary students. in exchange, through mentoring relationships, these students actively promote positive attitudes toward literacy and learning among younger, school-age children of color.our influence alan page, a pro football hall of fame inductee and former justice of the minnesota supreme court, founded the page education foundation, a nonprofit, tax-exempt org
