about us education and relief initiative (edri) is a community project that encourages and supports education in the grass root in africa. edri metamorphosed from no child dropout initiative, a community development project aimed basically at preventing and reinstating dropouts in primary schools in nigeria. it was born out of passion for children who do not have access to qualitative and quantitative basic education. at first it only looked out for dropouts but, currently it includes other children in africa who are not getting the best of education. it started it’s operation first in ebonyi state, nigeria and has extended its tentacles to other parts of the country and the continent. our numerous resource programs such as: school sensitization, read and learn program, door to door advocacy, etc. has helped in grooming the african child to adequately stand out wherever they are. welcome to edri!
