building partnerships one child, one family, one donor at a time at canada's first education bank, we believe every child should have the opportunity to make their mark on the world and build a better future. the education bank supports families from across the gta (greater toronto area) by providing urgently needed learning resources and school materials. the idea originated with the urgent need to support families on a fixed income through covid-19. in the spring of 2020, parents engaged in education responded with the creation of thousands of "learn at home" kits containing essential resources to ensure students could continue to learn when schools went remote.
