the brunswick county association of realtors® (bcar) is the local level of the largest trade association in the nation presently serving more than 1200 members comprised of realtors®, appraisers and affiliate members. chartered in 1959 by the national association of realtors® (nar), the brunswick county association of realtors® represents the interests of its members in brunswick, bladen and columbus counties. members have the right through membership to use the term realtor®, which is a registered trademark identifying a professional in real estate who belongs to the association and ascribes to a strict code of ethics. the association offers an internet based multiple listing service (mls) featuring a comprehensive list of available properties for sale or lease in brunswick, bladen, columbus and surrounding counties. members’ interests are well-represented on local, state and federal legislative issues through the governmental affairs department. networking opportunities are provided
