Education for Refugees

poverty, limited access to education, and poor living conditions were common challenges for the average person living in a refugee camp. because of jordan’s geographic location, many refugees and asylum seekers turn to jordan for help to escape war or persecution. yet, while fleeing to jordan hoping to build a better future for themselves and their families, most refugees today are trapped within the confinement of a strict refugee camp. this display of cruelty compelled the efr team, as well as thousands of other jordanians, to initiate projects to help mitigate the struggles of refugees in our community. education for refugees (efr) was founded with a mission to unlock the potential of refugee children at za’atari refugee camp through providing them with assistive interactive classes that supplement their educational curriculum. the classes included scientific experiments and demonstrations related to the lessons the children were learning at school. we collaborated with local ng
