education nation is a brand for global marketing and export of estonian education initiated by the estonian ministry of education and research. we assist local and national bodies through consulting, training, digital solutions and more. in 1990 estonia gained independence and we formed a vision for our future. we realized early on that education is the key to national development. this led us to initiate the 'tiger leap project', focusing heavily on information technology infrastructure with education as its cornerstone. after 30 years the results are clear: in 2018 estonia was declared the no.1 nation in europe by oecd's pisa ranking. globally, our students rank 4th in science, 5th in reading and 8th in math. the majority of our students (77%) exhibit a growth mindset, believing they have the capability and freedom to take charge of their own future. this confidence and belief has resulted in estonia being ranked 1st globally in entrepreneurial activity according to world economic
