we at the educational multimedia company, (emi), a 501(c)3, hope to put our technological expertise to use educating young people. our mission is to educate youth about health and social issues that directly impact their lives, and to equip them with tools to make informed choices. emi accomplishes this by creating educational programs that are accessible and engaging, using multimedia formats. our priority is to provide the curriculum to those areas with the highest concentrations of racial and ethnic minority populations that are disproportionately impacted by these health and social issues. our current project metabolic magic, is an interactive, multimedia education program that targets high risk youth, and seeks to prevent obesity and related chronic diseases. our goal is to make this online program available to schools, libraries, health centers and youth organizations across the united states. we developed the award winning documentary, “voices: perspectives on hiv and ai
