educators of equity and social reform (eesr) is driven to foster teaching, learning, research, and project collaborations with educators that are committed to addressing the inequities of education. at the core of our mission is a focus on under-represented groups within our society. eesr uses a sustainable framework and mission based guiding principles to accomplish our key tasks and objectives. mounting societal issues, across a broad spectrum, dictate that educators that are problem-solvers will need to come from all areas of society. educational institutions have the responsibility of not only understanding these issues and their impact on current and future generations, but also in educating their faculty, staff, and students to be problems solvers to assist in eradicating these issues. traditionalducational institutions are not capable of accomplishing this task on their own. solving societal problems means involving multiple elements of society. hence, our focus on equity and s
