edv global foundation is a registered charity (1144078) based in the uk and is a world leading organisation in addressing domestic violence and working to see it eliminated. three are three distinct elements to what edv does: - advocacy - research and policy development - programme design and implementation edv has a top-down approach to domestic violence. through utilising research and a proven implementation model in a coordinated approach combined with on going evaluation and feedback of findings, we hope to influence policy makers and encourage sustained, effective change to the legal and civil stance on domestic violence. in doing so, edv hopes to see organizations, states and governments move toward a position where the elimination of domestic violence is not only seen as a key issue worth addressing, but also that domestic violence is culturally unacceptable.
