welcome. my practice focuses on civil and appellate litigation, but i am available for consultation on a variety of legal issues. after graduating from the unc school of law in 2006, i spent two years as a law clerk to judge linda stephens at the north carolina court of appeals. i then briefly clerked for chief judge john c. martin at the court of appeals before joining the appellate practice group at wyrick robbins yates & ponton llp headed by the honorable k. edward greene. i left wyrick to open my own practice in carrboro, where i have lived since 2002 with my wife and daughter. i grew up in chapel hill, graduating from culbreth junior high school and chapel hill high school before earning my undergraduate degree in english and history from unc-chapel hill in 1995. let me know if i can help you.
