edward g. robinson raised in one of the toughest sections of philadelphia, pennsylvania, the author had come face to face with life-altering and life-threatening decisions. however, god birthed in him blessings that would later manifest as great victories. some of those blessings included being named two-time college all-american, player of the year, and hall of fame inductee from the days of spending time on the basketball court. after putting away his basketball shoes, he served as a dean and vice president at various colleges across the country. although the author experienced many blessings from god, he was not aware of the spiritual process. he, therefore, lost out on blessings god had set aside for him. the author also understood that direction without the right spiritual connection leads to defection from god, so he stayed the course that god had purposed for him. it was the spiritual connections that lead him to serve the church as a deacon, trustee, head of men’s ministry, yo
