edward is a humble, kind, gentle person and a role model to his children and grandchildren for how to be a good human being. edward’s daughter, mary kay, and son, ed, established the edward touhy guardian angel foundation to provide a “guardian angel” for students who need a little extra help in life to see them succeed in life. the edward touhy guardian angel foundation was established to provide resources to economically disadvantaged students attending private high school in chicago, illinois, in order to build their confidence and self-esteem, to allow them to go on to be successful in college and ultimately have the greatest choices in their adult lives. the edward touhy guardian angel foundation will make scholarship grants to students to assist them with the completion of high school. in addition, the foundation will make gifts in kind to needy families with students who attend private high school. gifts in kind will include but not be limited to school uniforms, books, school s
