i was born and raised in isabela, philippines, the youngest of six children. my mother instilled in me the desire for education and to dream bigger to have a better life. i graduated as the valedictorian, finished my bachelor's in accounting and went to law school. in 2013, i moved to taiwan to work for a semiconductor company. in 2015, my cousin brought me here and showed me why america is the land of opportunity and the place for driven, motivated hard workers. after an extensive process, i was able to pursue and finished my mba in international business in 2017. while pursuing my mba, i was working as a caregiver to pay for my education and help my family back in the philippines, taking care of quadriplegic and elderly people. this made me realize how vulnerable people can be, especially if they do not have the financial security needed to preserve the quality of life they want. i have been married to my husband, kelson, since 2017. we have a daughter, jasmine jade, and a dog name
