welcome to the department of electrical and electronics engineering, bits pilani hyderabad campus which started its journey in 2008. our department houses almost 1200 fd students and 165 hd students on campus with 33 faculty and 14 staff members being the largest. the primary focus of the department is to empower our students with overall development with a balance of intellectual and practical experiences that enable them to serve a variety of societal and technical needs. first degree programs offered in: be in electronics and communication be in electrical and electronics be in electronics and instrumentation engineering (e&i) higher degree programs offered in: m.e communication engineering m.e embedded systems m.e microelectronics phd scholars 85 (present) with 35 phd awardees (2009 till date) we have 15 lab rooms space occupying 31040.82 sft in which about 49 labs are conducted (ug-23, hd-21 & research labs-5) this is supported by excellent infrastructure and motivated
