Eee-Yfu

in 1985 eee-yfu was founded as an umbrella organisation for national yfu organisations based in europe. eee-yfu's aim is to support the capacity of european yfu organisations to develop sustainable and high quality youth exchanges in europe. eee-yfu bases its actions on three prioriy areas: - knowledge building and networking, i.e.facilitation of cooperation between national yfu exchange organisations in europe - capacity building, i.e. the provision of educational activities (international seminars, training courses, conferences) to maximise the quality and impact of the work of yfu volunteers and staff - advocacy and representation. i.e. monitoring the development of relevant policy issues (such as the recognition of non-formal education, the recognition of exchange years abroad, volunteerism and mobility) and being represented within various platforms and structures youth for understanding is a non-profit youth exchange organisation, providing exchange programmes for 15 to 18 year o
