Eep Africa - The Energy and Environment Partnership Programme (Eep S&ea)

the energy and environment partnership programme of southern and east africa (eep s&ea) is a programme which promotes renewable energy (re), energy efficiency (ee), and clean technology investments. the overall objective of the eep s&ea is to reduce poverty by promoting inclusive and job-creating green economy and by improving energy security in the southern and east africa regions while mitigating global climate change. currently the countries in the energy and environment partnership programme of southern and east africa (eep s&ea) are: botswana, burundi, kenya, lesotho, mozambique, namibia, rwanda, seychelles, south africa, swaziland, tanzania, uganda and zambia. the eep s&ea has two funding windows, giving out grants between 100,000 - 1,000,000 eur. the eep s&ea programme is funded by the ministry of foreing affairs of finland (lead donor), uk department for international development (dfid) and the austrian development agency (ada).
