united in their concern for america’s current generation of young men, empowered fathers in action (efa) is being established by co-founders, joseph cohen and christopher salem – both authors, speakers, and fathers who care deeply about their sons – who have developed a broad spectrum of programs and resources that will provide fathers with the insight, information and tools they need to play a more engaged, supportive and influential role in the lives of their sons (the fathers of daughters will also benefit). our mission is to have a positive impact on fathers, sons, and families, while in the process we will empower young people to enjoy greater self-esteem, happiness and sustainable success so they can contribute to their communities. in addition, efa’s services are also designed to work collaboratively with national corporations and organizations across the nation, working with parents; as well as in school districts educating at-risk youth. besides serving the u.s., we will ul
