effective owner was founded in 2012 as experts initiative and educational movement to raise conciousness of citizens regarding collective management of joint property. we work in the area of the property rights legislation and help people to learn how they can independently and effectively manage their common property through self-organisation mechanisms. the main focus area of effective owner is education. citizens' unawareness of their ownership rights represents a huge problem in ukraine today. wide support of progressive reforms is very unlikely given the current state of people's knowledge. ukrainians do not support projects that offer positive qualitive changes because they don't understand them. usually citizens are unable to tell reformative initiatives from populistic promices. to remedy the situation effective owner organises lectures, seminars and panels devoted to explanation of flaws in current legislation in the area of property rights formalisation and common property ma
