our vision: efs works with people who are experiencing challenges and difficulties, using arts therapies to encourage clients to increase self-esteem, hope, social-inclusion, personal growth and development. efs strives to improve their clients’ emotional wellbeing and psychological health, through challenging isolation and stigmatisation. efs operates in diverse settings, offering short-term and long-term arts therapy to a wide range of clients. our aims; -provide a safe space for clients -build healthy therapeutic relationships -explore clients’ difficulties and struggles at a distance which is not too direct -offer clients the opportunity to feel heard -allow clients to feel free of the stigma they may feel -develop skills of social interaction and self-advocacy -explore and express feelings and emotions -improve self-belief and confidence efs arts therapies was formed as a direct need for arts therapy provision within the united kingdom. our services cover groups and one-to-one
