the company ralf eggers was founded as a partnership in october 1996 from the outsourced plant section of the "mechanical production" of the walterwerk kiel gmbh & co. kg and has since served as exclusive supplier of the walterwerk. with facilities covering a production area of 130 m², the owner and managing director, ralf eggers, offered customised cnc lathe and milling work. in 2002, the company expanded its production area to 800 m² and invested in its first lathes with powered tools. in 2005, the company purchased its first 5-axis machining center as well as a turning lathe with powered tools, y-axis and counter spindle. in 2008, the company further invested in a new production hall including an adjoining administration building, as well as in additional new tool machine. our new building was co-financed by the european union european regional development fund (erdf). from this time on, we have a production area of 1,200 square meters. in 2009, we significantly expanded
