eggion™ is a commercial start-up with a strong purpose; to make it much easier for people to pass their final high school exams because study is hard and forgetting is easy. adolescence is a particularly difficult time; teenagers (and their parents!) go through many rites of passage. for most people, their final high school exams are the first high stakes, life-impacting exams. as humans we forget around 50% of what we learned yesterday and by the end of the week 70% or more has gone. to combat this we study, but the study habits used by most students are high effort, frustrating, low efficiency and not brain friendly. also, there is relentless, and growing pressure on senior high school students to perform, but it comes at a cost. for example, around 40% of australian year 12 students have clinical anxiety issues around exams. the same scale of problem also exists elsewhere, including china, usa, japan, south korea and the uk. motivation and study habits have a strong, positive impact
