Egham Hollowegians Rugby Club

egham hollowegians is a rugby club based in englefield green, surrey. the club was formed by keith heal in 1989, and in 2005 the royal holloway old boys and egham town sides merged to create a single club serving both local residents and the university’s alumni. the club has over 75 registered players, and currently operates three senior men’s teams. the 1st xv play in surrey 3, while the 2nd xv and a xv play in merit competitions. the club retains strong links with royal holloway, utilising the university’s state-of-the-art 3g pitch for training, and many current students get their first experience of men’s rugby playing in weekend fixtures. home matches are played at either hox park or kings lane in englefield green, and each year the latter hosts one of the longest running annual sevens tournaments in the south east. egham hollowegians also has a strong touring tradition, and has played matches against opposition from across europe, north america, asia and oceania.
