egoé began in summer days when a group of friends – designers of the czech company mmcité dealing in the design and production of street furniture – tried to choose outdoor furniture for their gardens and terraces fitting their style and usage requirements. none of the products then available on the market fully suited them and they decided to establish a brand according to their own vision. design exclusivity visible from afar was never the aim of the brand. the main goal was to design a collection that is sober, refined, minimal, funny and respectful of its surroundings. we design each product to fit naturally into the intended environment. the foremost values in our design are refinement, simplicity and practicality. egoé comes from bílovice, a small village in the moravia region of czech republic, where you can still find folk traditions, customs and artisans skilled in work with wood and other materials. all the furniture by egoé is locally sourced and produced in bílovice. we mad
