the egyptian society of animal friends (esaf) is an animal charity that stands for all animal welfare issues in egypt , and also an animal shelter for dogs and cats. esaf is: --committed to providing a temporary shelter and adoption program for rescued, injured and unwanted animals. --humanely controlling the population of feral animals with emphasis on tnr (trap-neuter-return). --advocating on behalf of domestic, working, and captive animals, as well as wildlife, by development of animal welfare legislation that ensures the welfare of animals in egypt. --providing the necessary support for the fledgling egyptian federation of animal welfare societies so we can speak with a louder combined voice. --introducing the principles of animal welfare to the egyptian public, especially children through workshops, welfare education classes and school visits.
