ehs is a chilean organization that provides health information technology (it) consulting and system implementation to clinical organizations, especially in the public sector, to help them improve the health of their patients, their families, and the community around them. we are the only organization in chile able to provide organizations with a health it vision and strategy based on scientific evidence and international standards. our first it product will be a primary care electronic medical record (emr) for the public health centers and posts in chile and other latin american and caribbean countries. it will be based on openmrs, an open source emr platform that is modular, scalable, interoperable, based on international standards, and has been implemented in over 15 countries. unlike any current emr in chile, openmrs is a web-based system with off-line capabilities for sites with low or no internet and has been connected to multiple mobile or handhelds systems, making it apt for ru
