our design attempts to create bright cheery light-filled spaces for the working environment. this unit gets light primarily from two sides and the plan prioritises working spaces which occupy these sides. all other spaces which are more transient in nature and which can be used with less natural light would occupy the other areas. a clear division in the plan is emphasized by the use of materials: wood for the transient spaces and white/grey for the working areas. the generous use of glass enable the spaces to feel more open, while the use of frosted films, blinds and curtains provides the privacy still required. the use of white and wood creates a comfortable and cosy environment that makes working a more enjoyable experience.
