ephphatha inter-church basketball league, inc. is a nonprofit organization that was founded by serge louis in august 2009. his love and passion for the game of basketball has grown over the years, it became his calling to leave a legacy for christians to have a different outlook on sports. after one night playing basketball, he thought about creating a church basketball league. in the summer of 2008 he hosted a basketball tournament titled "hardwood summer classic" at miami central senior high school, which was an amazing success. the tournaments success in 2008 motivated him to create ephphatha inter-church basketball league, inc. it will be a place where christians can fellowship through the game of basketball. he wants the league to have a lasting impact in the community and shows its members and players the importance of community service by promoting community awareness program. in an effort to prepare his players for the kingdom of god, the league will promote living a christian
