the “no. 8 wire attitude” is a term that epitomises the kiwi way. its the ability to invent, create and repair machinery using whatever scrap materials are available at hand. this attitude is how eight development came to fruition. we are a small team of dedicated product developers that build gorgeous user interface devices to definitively improve the way people interact with the things in their home. our hardware, os and software platform gives our users a centralised and intuitive touchscreen interface to quickly control and manage the vast array of "connected things” that are rapidly becoming integrated in our everyday lives. why we do this? it's because everyone in our team has an intrinsic drive to improve the way people live their everyday lives through technology. if you too have this drive, we’d love to hear from you.
