edinburgh students’ charities appeal (esca) is here to help support the hundreds of students who are involved in charitable activities throughout the city. esca is split into four 'teams': fundraising, development, meadows marathon and medrag. through the four student teams, esca specialises in all aspects of student fundraising: from organising large and famous events like the annual meadows marathon and race2paris, to small, regular fundraisers such as pub quizzes, ceilidhs and bake sales. furthermore, esca offers fundraising training and consultancy to all of the charitable societies associated with a university or college in edinburgh, as well as individual members of the student body who wish to fundraise for any cause. through our dedicated medrag team, we have a fundraising programme tailored to the demands of being a medical student in edinburgh. edinburgh students' charities appeal, also known as esca, is a company limited by guarantee and not having a share capital. registere
