heritage construction was founded by jeff hunt. having grown up in the residential and commercial construction business, he was involved in every aspect of his father’s construction company. after obtaining a b.s. degree in construction science from texas a&m, jeff worked as a field engineer, estimator and project manager for two of the country’s largest commercial general contractors, and worked on several multi-million dollar projects including a luxury hotel and resort, a high school, a hospital, numerous other commercial buildings. after earning an mba from texas a&m in 1989, jeff left the construction industry to pursue a career in business and technology consulting, working as a consultant with a “big 5” consulting firm. a downturn in the technology sector happened to coincide with reaching age 40, and after some serious self-examination and soul-searching, he decided to “return to his roots”. the company name was chosen to honor his father’s memory, continue in his footsteps, a
