I Can Do That! (Formerly Very Special Arts)

i can do that! (icdt) engages children and youth of all abilities in community arts programming for education, expression, and connection. icdt brings the arts to 3,000 pre-k through 12th grade students at 60 school sites annually in the sacramento, ca region. 70% of icdt students have mental, emotional, developmental or physical disabilities. 71% belong to the low-to-moderate income population. in classrooms everyday, teaching artists integrate special education and general education students, providing hands-on learning experiences and developing artistic and academic skills for icdt participants. students work with professional teaching artists to create high-quality performances and visual art shows that are showcased for the community twice a year during very special art festivals. the festivals are open to the public and include hands-on arts "funshops". additional community art shows and performances happen year round and take place in a variety of venues including galleries, mu
