i.e. (in other words) have been producing hand-finished illustrated greetings cards in london since 2010. originating in a small collection commissioned by a west london bookshop i.e. now produces over 100 designs and is currently sold by over 100 stockists both in the uk and internationally. founder emma kalkhoven’s designs form the main collection, inspired by victorian etchings and a minimalist aesthetic informed by her dutch heritage. the company has now grown to include original collections by illustrators susie hogarth and jessie makinson, creating a distinctive visual brand of intricate hand-drawn images combined with elegant restraint. all i.e.’s cards are hand-glittered in our broadway market studios, printed on 100% recycled paper and packed in 100% biodegradable cellophane envelopes. if you’re interested in stocking i.e. products, or would like a touch of i.e. applied to your project or product, drop us a line at info@ieinotherwords.com
