besides being an inescapable component of life, food provides social, educational, financial and spiritual opportunities for people to connect on a deeper level. food can instantly change the mood you’re in once you sit down at a kitchen or a restaurant table. it enhances your surroundings the very moment you smell the dish or put it to your lips. at its best, it is the centerpiece of family and friendly gatherings; the glue that brings and holds people together over a shared experience. food is the portal to other cultures who can’t actually travel to the country of origin themselves. it is a world that is constantly changing and has endless possibilities. we wanted to show you our love of food through humor in relation to pop culture trends, past and present, in our designs.
