my name is jacob from i want you to drink more wine. i created iwytdmw for the casual wine drinker who appreciates good wine but doesn’t have the time to dedicate their lives to studying every little detail about it. consider me your go-to wine guy for: -choosing a wine for your next date or dinner party -discovering fun wine pairings with food, cigars, and other treats -learning the basics of wine etiquette, tasting, and fun facts about your favorite wines if you hadn’t guessed already, wine is my thing. it’s my passion. however, it wasn’t always this way. in the past, i had a certain respect for wine, but i honestly had no clue where to start – and most of the wines i tried weren’t very good. when you step inside the wine store, the number of choices is overwhelming. then when you try to do a little research, it seems like you have to speak a completely new language just to understand what separates a good wine from a mediocre wine. i want to change that. if you’re like me, you
