Ipss - Innovative Product Support Service
the innovative product support service (ipss), part funded by the european regional development fund (erdf), supports businesses through the early stages of developing a new product or process. the project is managed by the university of wolverhampton (uow), with delivery of support undertaken by uow and project partners, aston university and birmingham city university. the programme is specifically designed to support smes developing: •environmental technologies •low carbon engineering and products •digital technologies •transport technologies •electronics •medical technologies businesses will initially receive a two day review of their proposed product/technology. the results of the review will be used to promote businesses with the most viable propositions through to a second phase of the programme that offers a further four days of funded support. in some cases, eligible companies will also be able to access a research collaboration to assist with further development. the ipss
