the story of inoui begins with the desire to create unique design pieces, with a savoir-faire that forces us to rethink our approach to time. nothing can be rushed when it comes to ceramics! each piece is made entirely by hand in east london. from being thrown on the wheel to the final glazing phase, everything that comes out of the kiln are handcrafted! similar to magic when you see a piece, whilst it creates under the pressure of your fingers. the results are always a surprise - sometimes unexpected - but it is always “inoui” (french for incredible) you will not find any two pieces the same through the collections, each given their own unique character and charm, each piece each have a person connection through creation. all pieces are fired to very high temperatures, making them very durable – including microwave and dishwasher safe.
