inverse journal is an online publication that offers reflections on contemporary culture worldwide, from discussions and reviews of works in various genres such as literature, music, art, and film to explorations of academic writing, philosophy, education and popular culture. the journal was created in response to the cultural dialogue that exists between multiple peoples of multiple origins in the domain of cultural production, beyond the viewer-spectator engagement, and geared towards an appreciation and a critical reception to contemporary art forms and the subsequent response that can emerge through writings pertinent to such contemporary art forms. the journal is scheduled to be run by a group of subeditors for each section, along with a growing variety of contributors from across the globe. the primary language of publication is english, even though submissions to the journal in other languages are also welcome. the project was conceptualized in kashmir in 2018 and launched on fe
