invest in structures< owner, designer, andrew mcintyre, began his career as a furniture designer in san francisco, ca in 1992. early in his design career, andrew used 3-d cad modeling software to achieve successful results and assist with a number of furniture designs for large manufacturers. in 1999, he was named as one of the top 100 furniture designers by california’s design association. during the mid and late 90’s, andrew began to transition from furniture design to residential and commercial building design and management. he continued to use 3-d cad modeling software to produce effective 2-d and 3-d drawings. he is able to use modeling to convey the design for the client to understand and then utilizes 2d construction drawings to produce clear and concise working construction documents. his experience working for design build firms as a project manager/designer has given him a thorough understanding of design and project management and how it relates to the construction process
