the advent of the covid-19 pandemic has had a devastating effect on every single person on the planet, regardless of individual perspectives. there is not a single country, industry, organisation, business, race, culture or family that has been spared. the impact of covid -19 on the african continentcovid-19 was amplified by, marginal reporting, limited access to advanced scientific technology, monopolised access to vaccinations, and hard lockdowns which have led to widespread job losses. we have denied, cried, complained, bemoaned, cursed and ultimately resigned to our new status quo. it is out of this united crisis where the idea for invest southern africa forum was formed. as a region rich in resources, all that was needed was to redirect our perspectives and behaviours. this culminated in the realisation that as a region, we can produce all that we consume, manufacture our own goods we use and transport and export excess to other destinations in need. invest southern african confe
