serving students, faculty, alumni & guests through a variety of programs, activities, services & facilities - the memorial union has been the hub of iowa state's campus for nearly 90 years. the "mu" houses many programs and offices like the student activities center, multicultural center, veterans lounge, m-shop, bookstore, workspace and many more. the mu also provides several dining options like panda express, chester's chicken and the mu market & cafe for students, staff and visitors. as well as meeting space, event halls and study spots. we believe: - that the memorial union is a student-centered, full partner in the educational process - that building community builds loyalty and social responsibility - that programs and facilities are a unifying force - that ideas and experiences are powerful ingredients in holistic development - that participatory decision-making builds world citizens and leaders - that service and convenience provides essential support to individuals reac
