Ipure Mindanao Project

integration of productive uses of renewable energy for inclusive and sustainable energization in mindanao or i-pure mindanao is a cooperation between the national electrification administration (nea) and the mindanao development authority (minda) with a euro 4.5 m funding from the european union through the eu access to sustainable energy programme (eu-asep). the overall objective of the action is to bring about inclusive and sustainable social and economic development to the sites through improved livelihood activities and sustainable access to energy through renewable energy solutions. aligned to this objective, the central precept to the selection of the activities and sites for the proposed action is the shift from the traditional practices of deploying renewable energy technologies for stand-alone household energy applications (lighting, radio, others) to a solution that combines renewable energy solutions for livelihood activities and household energization.
