iica (iranian institute of certified accountants) is the national body for professional accountants. iica was founded at feb 21, 1973 as a ‘not for profit’ organisation and non-governmental association in iran. iica is the largest professional accountancy body in iran in terms of membership (more than 7500 members; cas & icas). associate members of iica are known as "certified accountant (ca)"​, and, fellow members of iica are known as "independent certified accountant (ica)"​. iica is the first iranian member of the international federation of accountants (ifac) (since 1998). انجمن حسابداران خبره ایران نخستین انجمن حسابداران حرفه ای ایران است که در روز چهارشنبه، ۲ اسفند ۱۳۵۱ تاسیس شد. انجمن در سال ۱۳۷۷ به عنوان نخستین انجمن حسابداران حرفه ای از ایران به عضویت در «فدراسیون بین المللی حسابداران (آیفک)» درآمد. هم اکنون، انجمن با داشتن بیش از 7500 عضو، بزرگترین نهاد حسابداری ایران است.
