Iraqi and American Reconciliation Project

the iraqi and american reconciliation project (iarp) creates bridges of communication, understanding and support between americans and iraqis. we work toward our mission of reconciliation from war and occupation through the arts, education, cultural and professional exchange, support for peacemakers in iraq, and water and sanitation projects. we support the rebuilding of lives, relationships, cultural understanding and respect, and a country torn apart by decades of war, sanctions, and occupation. we are iraqis and americans, veterans and refugees, peace activists and artists, students and professionals, and many others united by our work for reconciliation. we invite you to join us. iarp was established in july of 2007 as grassroots, citizen-based support in the united states for the muslim peacemaker teams (mpt) in iraq. iarp and mpt operate as partner nonprofit organizations in the united states and iraq, respectively. websites: http://reconciliationproject.org, http://waterforpeace
