irenes fitting room is specialty store offering free fittings for everyone featuring bras, sexy lingerie , shapewear breastforms and mastectomy products. the store first opened in new britain , ct in 1946. my mother irene lehn was a graduate of warners school of corsetry. back then you were required a degree to fit corsets etc. so from there many changes took place and bra and corset style shapewear fittings became a necessary part of dressing. soon sexy lingerie was mainstream and thats what everyone wanted. so today we are located in rohnert park ca.
