irish community services (ics) is a 501c3 not-for-profit immigration and social services provider, serving the irish community throughout the midwestern united states. ics is committed to providing advice, information, advocacy, referral and support. our mission is to serve, empower, and connect the irish and irish american community of the midwestern united states. at ics we serve the community by providing legal, social, youth, and referral programs. ics empowers the community by providing access to resources and assistance that empowers community members to resolve the challenges they face. ics connects the community by acting as their voice when liaising with relevant organizations, policy makers, and the government of ireland. ics operates within three distinct programmatic pillars: 1) our immigration services program (isp) provides the community with free or low cost immigration legal assistance. under our isp, ics also provides assistance and referrals to visiting j1 students
