the irish ethiopian friendship association (iefa) bring together people who have an interest in ethiopia, with the aim of supporting the less fortunate in ethiopian society. we also financially support some of these people through education so that they can gain employment and become self-sufficient. the irish ethiopian friendship association brings together people who have an interest in ethiopia, with the aim of expanding and enriching existing ties of friendship between the two countries through:- expanding information and awareness increasing cultural exchange and links supporting specific development initiatives initiating our own projects. i.e.f.a. was launched by a small group of people with long established ties with ethiopia. it was felt that there is a great fund of goodwill in ireland among many people who have worked there and the increasing number of tourists who have become captivated by the country and its people. we do not wish to duplicate the good work being carried o
