about us the irish institute of languages was founded in november 2014 to provide english & foreign language learning for non-english native speakers. initially students came from family contacts in the state of mexico, but the scope grew and now includes students from mexico city and other states within the country. founder & ceo frank doherty has worked as an educator, esl teacher, coordinator and director in mexico for more than twenty years. he runs the irish institute of languages at a modern office in mexico city. the style of the institute has always been to provide quality teaching in a friendly supportive atmosphere. about our teaching staff our english & foreign language teachers are all qualified educators with experience in teaching as a foreign language. all of our professionals, many of them have lived and taught english & their mother language abroad, and are therefore acquainted with the challenges of learning a new language. they are all, therefore up to date with co
