the irish music school of chicago preserves, honors and promotes the cultural traditions of music, dance, language and song from ireland and its diaspora with a special focus on the unique contributions of chicago-based immigrants and their descendants and ancestors. passing these rich traditions from generation to generation through education, performance, and community outreach, we foster a connection between all chicagoans, regardless of ethnic heritage, and the irish community at large through a lifelong appreciation of these cultural expressions.
